Prevent KDE Kate 3.13 from auto-collapsing folders in Documents pane on File Open? -

i've looked high , low through settings, can't seem figure out how prevent kde kate 3.13 auto-collapsing branches in documents pane when opening files. really annoying me, since have re-dig in collapsed file structures figure out previous file working on located.

does know secret sauce on one?

to reproduce issue:

have kate installation @ or around version 3.13 place documents pane in tree view via right click->view mode->tree mode open several documents in different branches via file->open. open file in different branch exposed branches in tree view. observe other branches in documents pane auto-collapse.

workaround while waiting fix:

enable console tool , open konsole interface (or utilize regular konsole instance) execute "kate " open file without triggering document collapse.

there bug report , have possible fix. however, prepare not yet applied. if goes well, fixed kde sc 4.13.3.
