i have 2 addons decent number of downloads. both addons on status bar. lot of emails status bar gone, , need utilize addon bar. doesn't addon bar come automatically if have addons on status bar?

as developer, should fix?

the status bar gone since quite time (firefox 4, really), there compatibility layer automatically set status bar items add-ons new add-on bar , automatically toggled visibility of add-on bar when happened.

the firefox australis theme, shipped firefox 29, removed add-on bar. 1 time again there compatibility layer place items add-on bar default toolbar area, compatibility layers go, cannot work everything, , works standard toolbar buttons added standard overlay way.

you'll need convert statusbar-based stuff either toolbar buttons overlays (additional remarks australis), utilize new customizableui api or convert add-on sdk add-on , utilize sdk actionbutton apis.
