iwork - Converting a date/math formula in Excel into Numbers for Mac -

i have formula in excel subtracts birth date today's date , divides 365 gives age in decimal format. illustration below.

b4 equal birthday of 10/03/2011. e4 today's date. result 2.73. kid little on 2 , 1/2.

=if(b4>0,(e$4-b4)/365," ")

when seek utilize formula in numbers mac, gives me error comparing dates numbers , so. looked @ datedif, timevalue, , datevalue couldn't figure out how in number.

anyone know how formula homecoming decimal value of 2.73 years of age?

assuming b4 in "date" format, seek next formula

=if(isblank(b4),"",yearfrac(b4,today(),1))

try entering formula

=b4>0

in different cell, encounter en error

you can’t compare date number because info types different.
