html - Make Fieldset border match TextArea -
what's best way create border around fieldset more snug textarea? consider:
<fieldset> <legend>note edit</legend> <textarea rows="30" cols="80" id="mytextarea"> </textarea> </fieldset> ...unfortunately, right-hand fieldset border extends way far-right of browser screen, leaving gap between right-hand borders of textarea , fieldset.
what's best way resolve this? w3school's fieldset tag reference doesn't mention sizing fieldsets or borders.
using ie9 on win7 machine.
just add together next css:
fieldset { padding:0; display:inline; } the borders of fieldset 'attached' textarea.
