timer - How to implement a time lock before submitting a new response in Google Forms -

i'm tl of outsourcing company. deal alot of entries. track progress via google spreadsheet tracks updates using timestamp script having problems real time updating. employees, instead of updating entries in real-time, tend load, example, 10 entries , update status later in 1 sweep; kind of messing management's production per hr report.

now figure google forms might job because

they not have access spreadsheet timestamp can't edit if don't have access. they can't alter info 1 time they've clicked sumbit.

in researching. google helps, not when comes google forms. i've resorted asking here since of answers found when searching scripts google sheets came here.

my question is: possible set sort of "response lock period", meaning form won't accepting responses period 1 time current response has been submitted? example: bruce entered response @ 12:00 form no longer accepting responses until 12:10 12:10 am, form accepting responses bruce. doesn't have specify person lock implemented if can manage, great help. figured form's auto timestamp on linked spreadsheet might key it.

people playing scheme because scheme needs played in order them work.

your suggestion, time-locking, trigger different gaming behavior. why not rid of real problem: management's production per hr report?
