i'm trying programme sipclient ios. after checking out different options, decided go pjsip, , gossip wrapper. problem is, when clone gossip repository , seek update submodules, submodules doesn't update @ all. folders empty. i've asked friend of mine uses git alot, , i'm doing correctly. (submodule init; submodule update). submodule paths nowadays in .gitmodules .

the problem forgotten linking in github repository seems. went pjsip , cocoapods instead which, far atleast, works charm.

sidenote objective-c newbies myself: can utilize c-code in objective-c. if you've been programming in java, take time learning c, helps alot if need utilize thirdparty stacks.
