the programme needs libmysql.dll there under c:\xampp\mysql\lib along libmysql.lib. in visual c++ settings have libmysql.lib added linker->input , have c:\xampp\mysql\lib added linker->additional library directories.

yet still same error. i've reinstalled xampp. i've copied dlls system32 directory. same error though.

try copying libmysql.dll same folder executable. worked me.
