how can code forcefulness model subsystem icon redraw itself. have icon displaying model setting, block not responsible changing setting. when setting changes see model block's display update. how can achieved?

imagine have 2 masked subsystems in model, 1 mask sets global workspace variable, other displays value @ icon. ignoring pointlessness of example, don't know of way of sending message/event scheme inform other blocks redraw , in process read new workspace value.

the reply create new mask on target block redrawn , add together variable in parameter tab.

i called variable 'onsettingschanged' event handler, set type: edit, evaluate: off, tunable: on.

in event source mask under initialisation tab, phone call set_param on other masks' 'onsettingschanged' value. when written different value previous, causes mask redraw.
