performance - slow mp4 video in chrome and node-webkit -

i'm making app in node-webkit plays downloaded (so local) mp4 video (1080p). copied ffmpegsumo.dll chrome installation, , play. slow (cpu around 99%).

i assume hardware issue, when play video in windows media player on same system, runs fine (cpu around 25%).

i tried run video in basic chrome (as opposed node-webkit) , same results (way high cpu-load). checked settings in about:flags , seems normal (all accelerations turned on).

so how can difference exist? , improve yet, how can create video play same speed in chrome in windows media player?
