i wondering if knew of js, ajax, or jquery function can allow preview of uploaded pic. liked solution found here...

but, filereader api supported in ie10 , above. need function works ie9 well. ideas?
it's not possible, before html5 javascript not read file on file scheme html5 changed , got file api's added before security said there no web page access of file on machine not possible. in browser not have back upwards html5 file api's.
you have default no preview available, before render preview alter image saying preview not available in browser , if render not work in browser wont alter (dont forget utilize seek , catch) can handle error
