i want file comparing in sublime text 2, have done bit of research , found out that:

sublime text has built-in diff feature features limited open folder (click "file" | "open folder..." , take folder @ level contains both files), sumblime text 2 open new window. multi-select 2 files want compare in sidebar, right-click , take "diff files...". see quora.com/sublime-text/can-you-compare-files-code-within-sublime-text-2

there 2 plugins job: sublimerge , filediffs

however not find clear explanation of differences between them. suspect rather 1 beeing improve other, 1 fit 1 type of usage more another, may wrong.

sublimerge has ability ignore whitespaces , caps , more feature rich diff tool filediffs quick , dirty diffs.
