Why hibernate search deletes the index directories (master/slave config) -

i don't want rebuild indexes everytime application starts master directory provider (fsmasterdirectoryprovider line# 124/125) deletes index files when bootstraps.

any thought how can skip can reuse existing indexes after redeploy / restart of application?

the indexes not deleted when application bootstrapped, it's deleting "current1" and/or "current2" marker files in source directory, creating new marker file point @ current index directory. indexes left alone.
