i'm developing media center built upon webkit + nodejs (is chrome brower within desktop application). want alter screen refresh rate (hz) based on fps of video playing (only in fullscreen), illustration if screen resolution 1920x1080@60hz , play 1080p@24fps video, want screen resolution alter 1920x1080@24hz.

this practice mutual among media centers, because matching screen's refresh rate video's fps ensure more pleasant , smooth playback.

so, question simple: there way within javascript or html5?
