debian - Does anything auto deactivate LVM2 volumes -

i have daemon creates , destroys lvm2 volumes (using lvcreate , lvremove). between creating , destroying volume expects device node nowadays in

/dev/<volumegroup>/<volumename>

however, for reason every few weeks, somewhere appears randomly deactivate 1 of these volumes. know might doing this?

my platform debian 7 amd64.

tia

did seek vgmknodes?

vgmknodes [-d|--debug] [-h|--help] [--refresh] [-v|--verbose] [[volumegroupname | logicalvolumepath]...]

it check lvm2 special files in /dev needed active logical volumes , creates missing ones , removes unused ones.

vgchange -ay volumegroupname

if vgmknodes couldn't create device node you, makes vg available kernel.

debian lvm
