i've looked through magicsuggest documentation http://nicolasbize.com/magicsuggest/doc.html i've been unable find solution following:

i disable specific selection options in drop-down pane while still showing them. in other words: i'd display selection options allow selected, others greyed out or along lines.

is there elegant way or going have come work around?

this added in 2.1.0 release. @ docs property disabledfield , you'll find looking for.
