i'm trying command instruments programme written in python using pyvisa module. installed national instruments' visa library instructed on pyvisa page

everything in windows xp (32bit). pyvisa module installed correctly, think. can load module python , access components.

now, problem comes when seek access library itself. calling visa.resourcemanager() should homecoming library path, returns no path @ all: python has no thought library is. neither i. seek find manually , add together path when calling functions, explained here

but since don't know is, can not it.

that's windows xp. on mac, follow same process , works out of box. mac computer has not gpib card have utilize doomed utilize windows computer.
