javascripts and CSS (404 not found) on WAS8 -

we upgrading was6.1 was8.in 1 of our test environments created , instance of was8.took ear file of web app was6.1 , deployed was8.the web app running on was8. however, javascripts , css not loading(404 not found) there. no changes done app run on was8.i looking ideas on problem can be. permissions ? because the was6.1 ear file deployed was8 ?in chrome debugger when @ sources shows javascripts , css folders though files appear empty. however, when navigate next screen in app javascript , css folders in chrome debugger sources no longer show @ all
