Using VBA to Group Rows in EXCEL -
i need dynamically grouping rows together. obvious selection vba. hope can help.
my spreadsheet has 18 columns , (up to) 5,000 rows of data. find starting row group, these conditions have exist:
cell a(?) must blank cell b(?) must not blank cell c(?) must blank end of grouping next row meets these above conditions minus 1 row - except where:
where cell a(?) not blank cell b(?) blank cell d(?) blank if status exists, ending row row minus 2.
i'm unable post pictures @ point. description help understand need do:
in example, greenish rows subtotals , rows grouping begins "tccv" way downwards "tcnc" (minus 1 row) multiple "sub" rows below it. next grouping starts @ "tcnc" downwards "tcvl" (minus 1 row). next grouping begins @ "tcvl" , end @ "gain" (minus 2 rows. in instance have "group" greenish colored subtotal row between end of grouping , "gain").
