finding data sources for android app -
i've come across problem when thinking creating different apps android. see these apps show weather cast or sport results, , wonder source info from.
i assume don't have own database fill info manually , live. suppose utilize kind of web service, info source or that. don't know if web service right term utilize in case (english not native language).
so know right term i'm looking for, plus guidance on finding kind of services, in order able develop apps using kind of info sources.
i think question help many programming students me.
it depends trying develope- apps utilize simple get/post requests , it's info formatted json or xml (which mutual case).
some uses soap getting data.
in cases using plain sockets or couchdb.
in cases using force mechanism (specially android) gcm send info client.
it depends want do.
