i have native c application on android 4.3 device transmits , receives info via udp.

i noticed device sending out arp messages every 30-45 seconds while info beingness actively transmitted/received via udp to/from remote ip address.

i expect long info beingness exchanged actively there wouldn't need sending out arp messages cache maintained. however, doesn't seem case.

is default , expected behavior on android ?

is there configurable alternative when creating socket controls frequency of these arp messages?
