Apache Solr update without unique key -

i know how create solr atomic update based on document unique key. don't know if there possibility update bunch of documents based on field (not unique key). bellow there illustration of need:

for illustration have fields: id (unique key), name, status. want update "name" in documents "status" x.

can or forced utilize unique key?

you cannot - unique key required update 1 document @ time. previous discussion:

you can update total document or partial update of single document based on unique key

as discussed in thread need write script pull each document , issue atomic update separately.
