osx - Duplicity doesn't like max open files setting on Mavericks -

i utilize duplicity backup files. i'm trying restore mac test backup, next error:

> duplicity me@backupserver.io/backup_dr ~/restored_files max open files of 256 low, should >= 1024. utilize 'ulimit -n 1024' or higher correct.

so try:

sudo ulimit -n 1024

and seems fine, run:

> ulimit -a ... open files (-n) 256 ...

how limit change? i've google'd no luck :(

i had exact same problem. turns out works under bash, not in tcsh.
