iOS Cordova PhoneGap barcodescanner orientation -

we have sencha touch app launches cordova phonegap zxing barcode scanner. problem manifests in ios.

the barcode scanner launches in portrait mode irrespective of device orientation is. ok us. not problem. however, if have device in landscape mode , launch our app, launches in landscape mode. if barcode scanner launched, , scanner completes it’s scanning, , closes, app forced portrait mode, though device orientation in landscape mode. results in black/grey band on right side of screen, since app thinks device in portrait mode, though device still in landscape mode. it appears if scanner plugin, forces device , hence app think in portrait mode , not reset it’s actual orientation after closed.

any ideas how device , app reoriented (and hence resized) 1 time scanner closes?
