i inquire suggestion how restore viewcontrollers state. in app called "pic collage" when create card , save , later restore it.

but, it's app in question saving model info (the object model represents card) in persistent storage, , when app re-starts, loads model info again. there whole bunch of possible technologies persistent storage ranging core data (robust, little complicated) plists (simple, less sophisticated). there tons other options (archives , serialization, sqlite, json, etc.), i'd rather not cloud issue further.

i'd suggest familiarize of these technologies, work through few demonstrations, , come if have additional questions. question broad specific answers @ point.
