ios - Playing a silent movie with AVFoundation and keeping iPod music playing -

i have app plays silent movies using avfoundation. there way allow music play , ipod (if you're playing music) go on playing? if play film ipod on, ipod pauses film can play, , vice versa - if seek replay music while film playing, film pauses. basically, want them play go on playing seamlessly....

let me know if need applicable code answer.

in experience, standard avaudioplayer based sound in app, managing avaudiosession required allow background music:

[[avaudiosession sharedinstance] setcategory:avaudiosessioncategoryambient withoptions:avaudiosessioncategoryoptionmixwithothers error:nil];

but can't tell if that's same attempting play encoded/compressed video , encoded/compressed sound @ same time.
