How to point HostGator domain to amazon ec2 instance? -
i have set a-record of domain elastic ip of ec2 instance.
i have set inbound http rule under security grouping of ec2 instance port 80 , allowed anywhere.
what else needed? waited 24 hours incase of propagation issue. nothing. hostgator prompts me alter nameservers "ns1.hostgator.com" , "ns2.hostgator.com". thought did not need hosting bundle reroute domain ec2 instance. did "park domain".
you have set required enable domain link. have wait no other go. wait couple of hours or contact hostgator client support.
given have setup a-record. guess trying blank domain i.e. example.com
