Azure Website Reserved IP -

Azure Website Reserved IP -

i've been trying find reply few days.

i want host new azure website in either basic tier or standard tier.

the site calling 3rd party service.

i need give service provider ip address whitelist. when new azure website makes requests service ip address request needs same, ip whitelisted.

i read azure offers "reserved ips" cloud services , vms wanted know if similar can done azure websites don't want go cloud/vm.

my knowledge of networking limited understand it, if ip ssl cert , apply azure website website have static ip address.

if case, requests 3rd party service hitting service providers external firewall same static ip?

thanks advice people can give.

an ssl cert web sites tied inbound ip address. however, web sites not provide static outbound ip address.

if need static ip address align 3rd-party services, you'd need have residing in azure (e.g. application tier) running in cloud service / vm web site accesses, , have app tier (with static ip address) communicate 3rd-party services.

azure azure-web-sites static-ip-address
